Appearance: April is 5.5 tall and is skinny and looks very healthy. She has blue eyes that glow mostly from the eye liner she often would wear at night when she goes out. Her hair is light brown, but due to her dark nature and power the color of her hair would get darker the more she uses her power. Black is the color you would have to watch out for, when her hair is pure black and eyes black that would signal that its time for you to run because that's when she loses total control on her dark powers. Though her eyes would be black when she uses her powers but if her hair isn't black with the eyes black you don't have to worry. April has feathered wings like an angel but her wings aren't white or brown like a hawks, instead they are pure black. She often hides her wings between a coat in the day. When April uses her dark power her eyes turn pure black, though where her blue in her eyes were turn bright gold and her eyes look like two rings. April also has a long cat tail, not much fur along it but at the tip their is a fluff like a lions tail yet more like a domestic cat's tail. Below her left eye there is a tattoo of dust and another tattoo on her chest of a ancient circle and nuclear streams cutting through it.
In cat form she is a calico cat with icy blue eyes. She is mostly black with some brown flecks on her body. She has a grey belly and a fluffy black and brown tail.

Dust - can turn completely into dust, often uses it to get behind her foes or to get a safe getaway.
Cat Formation - As if her tail was to show that she could turn into a cat. In her cat form she can still use her powers but not as strong as her true form in fact its terribly weak and it does more harm to her. She uses this to surprise her foes and get around through dawn till dusk since she can't get around that much in the day without standing out. Some times she would only turn half way through, her skin turn cat fur and ears perk out but bones still human. Or turns her eyes cats eyes to see better or turn her nails cat claws to scratch foes.
Force Control - her strongest power, able to protect her self with what looks like a invisible shield which is a force field like thing. She can with a flick of her hand push her foe back with just aiming with her hand or send bullets back at the user. She can use it to stay in the sky and stand there without using her wings. Though her power is not very strong in the day time as it is the night. But using so much of it at once could endanger her life or lose control of herself.
Flight - Can fly in the sky with her wings, uses them from dusk till dawn, when using them in the day is for emergency only.
Nightmares - By one touch on the forehead you can get very drowsy or either fall right asleep just by how strong your will is. Once you become unconscious you would have the very cruel and very vivid nightmares that she can control. She uses this power to see either your darkest secrets and fears. But it cannot work on anywhere else but your forehead. It's not telepathy because if it was she would need to train for it and she cannot go inside your mind like mutants with telepathy.

Personality: Like all mutants like her she is scared of her deeper power. Though she has a lot of control on it she is afraid to use it more than she wants to because she could easily fall under its control. When that happens everything around her would be shattered. April is very distant and transforms into her cat form in the day so no humans would notice her. How she survives is quite pitiful, to feed herself she goes to alleys and dig for garbage or hunt in cat form. When she is around other mutants that doesn't care about what she looks like by humans she still is distant and doesn't talk to anybody unless she has a say in the matter. But This doesn't make her weak or a coward, when the sun falls she goes out all night and flies around since humans wouldn't be able to see her. When some mutants are in trouble she would immediately come to their aid and she wouldn't care of showing her powers to protect others. She believes in following her dreams and wishes to one day have friends which what she says nakama for Japanese since her mother once lived there. April is very protective on her secrets and very protective towards things she cares about.

History: April wasn't born with wings but she was born with a cat tail. Her mother Susan who was also a mutant had the same powers as April but had no wings. When Susan became pregnant by rape she ran all the way to America where she gave birth to April. April and her mother lived a hard live for six years. It was hard because it was hard not to show their tails.
Her mother and her left the city and lived in a town. They found a way to hide their tails, tucking them in their pants though it was terribly uncomfortable and hard to balance. April and Susan lived ok in the town with humans that liked them yet they only thought they were humans. April made a lot of friends through the town in the summer but when school was nearing by. The girl wanted to go to school with her friends but Susan was scared that they would be found out. But she knew April should be with other people and not stuck at home. Susan couldn't home school her because Susan never went to school herself and doesn't even know how to read. Her family had kept her locked up because of what she was. So Susan let April go to school and at once April learned lots, she quickly learned how to read from the extra classes since she began late. Soon she became the best in her class and was as happy as you can ever be as a six year old.
A year passed and April became a very intelligent young girl. Her talent for learning had shocked the teachers and she jumped through the grades to grade five. One day every changed so quick everything to April had felt like a nightmare. Her mother and her were having out in the store shopping when a bugler came and threatened the gun at everyone. Susan showed her powers to protect everyone and killed the thief. But the humans became scared of her and went on a rampage that night. They stormed to their house that night, carrying weapons. Susan and April were ready to run when a guy shot her mother from behind. All the towns people came and cheered to kill April as well. Angel sick with sorrow and rage sprouted her black wings for the first time. And with that a sick power of such force and the smell of blood blue as strong as a twister. It destroyed the house and April killed all the humans and the children. Burning the town to the ground.
The little girl had been chased down most of her life from the police that day. Finally she came to Berkly and knew the only way to hide herself from the police was to go into cat form mostly and only show herself toward mutants that she can smell. April had become aware of the Acolytes and the x-men but she didn't want to join neither... too afraid that they to would try to kill her and she wanted to protect other mutants in Berkly from humans.
