Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes with hints of steel grey in them around the pupil. 5 foot 11 inches tall and 160 pounds. Long arms and legs…kinda scrawny but don’t underestimate him. He is always seen wearing jeans and a t-shirt with a jacket. Never really fancy unless he has to. Yet he always…ALWAYS wears the Italian horn necklace his father gave him for his last birthday before he died. He wears it to remember his dad and his brother who died during the shark attacks. Slightly tanned skin but more on the pale-ish side then tan. He’s tan but not real dark tan!

Personality: Jayden is very withdrawn and soft spoken. He barely speaks to anyone at all anymore! But you can always tell what he feels by his facial expressions. He can’t hide his emotions from his face. But he is very shy and would rather be alone then with somebody else. He gets real nervous and anxious around others. He is scared to death of rejection and seeing those around him die. He still blames himself for his father and brother’s death and he still is taking it very hard.

History: Jayden was born and raised in southern California. He was the middle of three brothers. His older brother Jude is 24 and younger brother Jason is 14. The trio has a very close brotherly bond and is always found surfing up and down the coasts. And they all shared a close bond with their parents and grandparents. Everything was going well…the entire family used to hang out together all of the time. They believed in good family values.
But that all changed when the brothers discovered their abilities. All three of them were mutants. Jude is a powerful telepath and telekinetic, Jayden has voice over powers, healing powers and telekinesis and Jason was a shadow manipulator. The family was now divided. Their grandparents hated mutants and everything it stood for. Their parents were more understanding. They accepted their sons for who they are and loved them no matter what. The grandparents then left for another country not even wanting to be near them. Jayden looked to his elder brother for strength during this time.
Then another tragic even changed Jayden’s life forever. It was Jason’s fourteenth birthday. Everyone was so excited! They couldn’t wait to go surfing! And so they did…it was a day of fun. They were going surfing and eating on the beach. But they never knew of the sharks. Jason wanted to go farther out into open waters. Everyone was wary except Jayden. He and Jason were persistent and finally they, Jude and their dad went out into open waters. They had fun for awhile and then the sharks attacked them. There were two great whites and four tiger sharks. Jayden and Jude survived with severe injuries. Jayden to his shoulder, neck and side and Jude to his legs, but Drew and Jason were not as lucky. The sharks had killed them.
The two brothers spent nearly a month and a half at the hospital recovering from the physical injuries. But for Jayden the real injuries were psychological. He blamed himself for their deaths. He felt that if he had spoken out against going out into open waters, then that would not have happened. Even with his family’s support, Jayden still took it very hard. Finally after another month, he just couldn’t take it. Living in the house was torturing him with memories of their life and the attack too. So one night he filled a messenger bag and a backpack with essentials, wrote a simple yet cryptic note that said, ‘I’m sorry’ and ran away. Now he has ended up in Berkley.
