Summary: It has been twenty-two years since the recent Titan War, and things have been quiet, or at least for a world with gods, heroes, and monsters. The Olympians have honored the promises, bound by the primordial River Styx. They honored the minor gods, and they claimed their children. Percy, Annabeth, Nico, Thalia, Clarisse, Connor, Travis, Chris, Katie, Pollux, and Will (The only demigods to survive the battle) have all moved away to New Zealand. There activity and survival in the war drew monsters to them like they were Heracles. To keep their home, and Peleus(Who had fought monsters constantly), they moved to a place with few monster.
The great battle had its effects on the world. The disarray in New York and the battle against Typhon were all recorded, and shown around the world. While most people couldn't see through the mist, those that could were immediately struck with the knowledge that the Greek myths were real. Within the next twenty years there would be a large increase in the amount of mortals who could see through the mist. One goddess, Hera, decided to be the first to take advantage of this. Having no mortal followers she felt left out and disadvantaged. So she recreated the Priestesses of Hera. Apollo, Hestia, Hecate and a host of satyrs, in the name of Pan, all followed suit.
With the large increase of incoming demigods, Chiron knew something had to be changed. There was to much to teach, and to little time. So he decided to turn the camp into a school for demigods. Two years later he was approached by Artemis. Her huntresses were all young, and needed to be trained, so Chiron created a program at the school for the huntresses. Apollo and Hera were the next to approach him, saying that their priest and priestesses also needed training. So now the great Olympian Academy for Heroes has three programs, and is a fully functioning school. Mortals, who are surrounded by the Mist, teach the mundane subjects, and the other subjects are taught by mortals and immortals alike.
