Summary:
After the Battle of Hogwarts, peace reigns in the wizarding world. Hogwarts is rebuilt, and reopens. Aurors round up known Death Eaters, and they are tried and sent to Azkaban when found guilty. Life goes back to normal.
Or so everyone assumes. But there are those who know better; the new Death Eaters and the Order of the Phoenix. Both secret organizations, both cautious. The Death Eaters are led by the new Dark Lord, who has gathered the broken pieces of that organization and forged them into a new, ruthless machine. He rises in the Ministry, infiltrating so quietly only the paranoid notice.
The Order of the Phoenix somehow always realized this day would come. They’ve remained, fading into the woodwork after the Battle and dwindling to a small, dedicated core group. They have a long reach, with old members willing to take up the banner again if called. A few, recognizing subtle signs, have been recruiting.
Hogwarts has sent out their letters, the school year will begin soon. Students flock to buy supplies, teachers prepare for the future year, and new teachers are hired.
