Lake Verde, one of the most mysterious towns in American history. Although not many people know it, this is the first place where human life showed up on the North American continent. It is the home of many stories and unsolved cases... but there is one legend that stands out the most. As the legend goes, every fifty years a young girl is murdered, and her body is never found. It is told that under the light of the full moon, you can hear the piercing screams for miles along the glistening lake. But those are just myths... they can't be true...right? Wrong.
This story is as old as anyone can remember, and next week, on the full moon… fifty years will have passed. The thing behind the killings has never been identified by the police, but according to legend, it is an ancient monster trapped under the lake, only able to break free every fifty years. It feeds on those young girls to gain enough strength to break out of its watery prison, and by the year 2009 it will escape forever. The monster is said to be one of the most terrible creatures to ever walk the planet. Humungous in size, and devastating in power. It brings destruction everywhere it goes.
As the day the monster is said to break out draws nearer, supernatural activity in this town has been off the charts, and people are being picked off left and right. No one has been able to stand up to the mass amount of hellish creatures lurking in Lake Verde. Until now. Virginia Dare and her best friend Ethan Spencer have just recently moved to the small town, hoping to eliminate the demonic population. Unfortunately for them, the army of evil creatures was more than they could handle by themselves. Refusing to give in, the two friends started a gang made up of a few supernatural beings to fight the evil in the town more effectively. Will they be able to stop the evil that stalks the town? What will happen when the monster breaks free?
