Jazmine is arrogant, a trait typical of most speedsters. She talks trash, she acts tough, and she isn't afraid to flaunt her powers or show them off. Everything she does has to be for herself, proving she is primarily selfish and indifferent to others. While this would make Jazmine an enemy of many, she also has her soft side that allows her to take up for others, which grants her a unique relationship with others. Not to be expected constantly, Jazmine will come to someone's defense - teammate, friend, lover - if she deems it justifiable. Otherwise, she believes in 'only the strongest survives'.

History:
Jazmine Ella Guevara was born in Havana, Cuba, the capital of the Republic of Cuba in June 1992. Her early life was rough due to the collapse of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in December 1991, a major ally and provider to the Cuban people, withdrawing a great deal of support and resources for their Caribbean friends. This meant she had little to work with, and not much to call as her own. Fortunately it was the same all throughout the country, so there was little separation due to social classes.
Performing only averagely, Jazmine was able to get through her early educational career. Her parents pushed for her to do the best she could as high marks meant excellent jobs, though being young and more content with daydreams, Jazmine did just enough not to flunk out or to be honored. It was at this time her mutant abilities developed at the young age of 14, which at first startled and frightened her but soon she was taking full advantage of it - something she never did with her academics.
Jazmine's speed allowed her to do anything she wanted, she could steal food, pull pranks, even ditch class and come back without being noticed. Best of all she could travel across the entire island in a matter of minutes, an experience she soon expanded to include Central and North America. Spending time in each of these countries for hours then returning home, no one figured out what she was doing, and Jazmine intends to keep it that way. However the allure of visiting places such as the United States has encouraged her to partake in various activities, some of which may not be viewed as socially acceptable.

It was like this every time Jazmine ran, the same ol' thing. Look to the side, there's a building, look to the other side, there's another one to accompany it. Every now and then variety reared it's head, but in no way extraordinary, mostly just a lamp post or if she was lucky a damn P.O. box.

Even tough girls had to have their shopping time, at least that's how Jazmine justified it as she rushed inside. In a matter of seconds the outfits she wanted were plucked from their racks, clutched in her hands, and exited the store along with their taker. Yeah, Jazmine stole, but so what? It wasn't like anyone was going to catch her, and even if they did, how would they see her? Security cameras were waaaay too slow to capture her image, but provided they did, the Cuban was just too fast.
Life was good, and it'd be a lot better with this cute top, too.

- Hyper Speed: Snap has superhuman speed, allowing her to run at Mach 10. Jazmine Guevara is one of the fastest being on the planet, and is arguably contender for the fastest being to exist. Theoretically, speeds greater than Mach 10 are dangerous to the people and to the environment. This speed would still be the equivalent to approximately 2 miles per second; allowing her to cross the United States in about 23 minutes, or circle the world in about 3 hours. She can also run across bodies of water and up the sides of buildings. Her thought process and reflexes are enhanced as well, allowing her to act in nanoseconds.
This speed allows Jazmine to create vortexes and violent streams of wind, all as a result of her increased movements. - Speed Aura: Jazmine's body is surrounded by what he calls her "speed aura". This aura protects her and anyone who is running with her or carried by her, from the effects of using her speed. This includes friction and airborne particulate matter. It also protects her from injury from high speed impacts such as punches she delivers and receives from her opponents. With this aura she is able to absorb kinetic energy. She possesses a level of superhuman resistance to injury which at times does extend far past normal physical interactions, as received from normal combat.
- Phasing: Jazmine also possesses the ability to control her speed and angular momentum at the molecular level, and control her molecular interactions to allow her body to pass through any substance. If she chooses Jazmine can excite the molecules of whatever substance she vibrates through to critical mass causing it to explode. While in an intangible state, Snap is immune to any airborn viruses and can breathe regularly. She can also vibrate so fast that light does not reflect off her, rendering her invisible.
- Telepathic Resistance: Thanks to her ability to rapidly vibrate, Jazmine is capable of rendering her mind intangible to telepaths and other mental assaults. The only exception to this rule would be if enough telepaths got together, or someone like Charles Xavier with Cerebro sought her mind. Most times this makes it difficult to pinpoint her location or get in contact with her, though if necessary she can lower her guard to allow telepathic messages to convey.
