Appearance:Valentina has honey brown, wavy hair, large lips, small eyes, and a slightly pointed nose. Her eyes are pale green and quite whimsical, seeming a bit unworldly. She isn't very tall, standing about 5'2 and weighing in at about 113lbs, but walks like she's 6 feet tall. She's very graceful from all of her dance training, and tends to have a bit of a strut, which is why a lot of people seem to think she's stuck up. Her form is fairly curved and nicely toned from all her dance training, and her hands and feet are small. She has a pixie like way about her.

Personality: Valentina's not the most socila girl, and definately not the most friendly. She has a tough outer shell and tends to act like nothing and no one bother her, but it's from her past, building an immunity to pain. Inside, she's constantly searching for comfort, but outwardly protests she doesn't need it, and can stand on her own. Though shes defensive and skeptical, she's a good friend if you get to know her. Loyal to the t, she's fun-loving, sarcastic, and daring. She tends to hang out with guys, and enjoys leaning on her guy friends once in awhile. She can be quite affectionate, and likes to comfort those who are hurting and listen to their problems. She's not a fan of gossip and shopping, but will wander the mall for a time and likes to look cute, still. She usually wears something easy to move around in in case she needs to get moving. When it comes to guys, you know she likes you if she starts going out of her way to avoid you. Her instinct that she needs to survive on her own kicks in, but she really does want to find that "special someone" eventually... though she'll never admit it. If she freaks out, her powers go wacky, especially the energy manipulation power. Things around her will start to break and shatter, and she'll go into a state of shock where she's not really there, and her powers go out of control. Sometimes she'll scream, sometimes she'll just stare off into space.

History:She was born normal, so it seemed, to a fairly rich man and woman in Brazil, kind parents who only wanted the best for their child. They weren't expecting their child to have the ability to shatter glass from a foot away using energy with her mind. Her powers started developing when she was five. On her first day of kindergarden, her undeveloped and undiscovered powers kicked into overdrive when she had a freak out session about leaving her parents. There wasn't a window in the room with a bit of glass in it, due to an invisible wave of energy she mistakedly created. Her parents instantly started to teach her at home, afraid of ruining their high, wealthy status in their community. They hid her, and instructed her not to talk or barely move when at parties. If she used her powers at all, purposely or mistakedly, she was hit.
Valentina found a release though drugs at twelve, when she met up with a gang of teenagers who lived in the city. She became an addict, but found a quick cure when she came down from a high realizing she'd killed four people with her powers. She became frightened of drugs, and told absolutely no one about it. She practiced her skills when alone, and took a new addiction in dance. She became a wonderful dancer, being small and naturally flexible, and was bumped up to the advanced class after only one year of training. She continues to persue dance above anything else, calling it her "anti-drug" though only she knows the real meaning of that. Lately, she's been curious as to how she got her powers...

The rain outside sounded loud in the sudden silence that washed over them. All around him, the men seemed to hold their breaths. For a dramatic effect, he took another draw from his pipe before standing, pacing around the room. One hand held the pipe, the other the revolver.
“Perhaps…” he said, ever so lightly, his voice skipping over the silence with ease, “It was all a misunderstanding. That I can understand, misunderstandings… but where I come from, there’s no such thing as misunderstandings. Only mistakes… and where we come from, Mr. Archer, we have a very lethal policy on mistakes.”
He looked to Nicolas, the blue of his eyes seeming to become deeper, more intense. He looked so pitiful under his gaze, it was almost funny.
