Don’t You Wanna Know What I can Do?
Giving her code name of Chameleon, Cam has the ability to change the colour of her skin. She can blend perfectly into her surrounding. She can hold the change when she moves and it is her choice to change, not automatic. She is learning to change into human colours, almost a form of shape shifting but she does not gain he voice. She is very talented, despite her young age.
Shouldn’t You Get To Know Me First?[/i]
She is calm and quiet. She doesn’t enjoy being around other people and she can often be seen sitting below a tree listening to music and reading. She doesn’t have any good friends and she barely knows the names of the students in her classes. She eats alone and has her own dorm. She doesn’t seem to notice, or she just doesn’t care that she could easily be ‘popular’ with her looks if she just developed the right attitude. She has never opened up to anyone except her brother. She finds very little funny and she rarely smiles or laughs. Like a brick wall, the only hint of feeling in her can be sent through her eyes. And all that can be seen is pain. She thinks it is her fault her brother was taken.
She doesn’t like technology. She isn’t a ludite but she doesn’t believe that technology should even exist. She doesn’t mind being around it. The sliding doors, the computers for class et cetera. She doesn’t really care abut it, but she doesn’t own anything technological of her own. The only exception is her iPod. And even then, she only has twenty songs on it.
She had always been extremely fast. Not as fast as someone with super speed, but for one without the power she can run incredibly far. She was on the track team at every school she attended and she was one of the bests at them all. She has also been training with daggers and swords, though she prefers to fight with her halberd. She fights with weapons because her ability is passive. She is also training martial arts, though she prefers using her weapons. She has also studied many languages including but not limited to English, French, German, Slovenian, Norwegian, Italian, Icelandic, Antarctic, Japanese, and Spanish.
She will fight for her side, though she isn’t exactly sure why she has chosen this side. She prefers not to think about the war in particular. To her, she is just at school, and this is what is required to pass the class.
Does My Past Really Matter?
She isn’t quite sure ware she was born but she know it was somewhere in Europe. She only lived there for about three months before moving to a new city. And this has been her life ever since. She’s never lived any where longer than eight months, though she has returned to the same places.
Her mother was the camera-man, director and star of her own documentary TV series on the animals of the world, and a second on the people and cultures of the world. Her father was a very well-loved author. They moved frequently and took their two children everywhere. From early on, both children learned to love the wildlife and the differences between people. The girl, Camille, had a knack for learning languages and she was always excited when they went somewhere with a new one to learn. The boy loved to see and learn new musical instruments from the native people that made and played them.
One day, they where passing through the Sahara desert and their mother passed out. She had not taken the needed precautions and later died from dehydration. Living on her dream, however, they continued moving and filming the show, however the whole family now worked together to make it happen.
When she was fourteen, both Cam and her brother started to do weird things. Cam could change the colour of her skin and David could freeze time. Neither of them where sure exactly what this meant until they told their father. They where currently living in Slovenia but they were nearly finished. On their way to Antarctica, the pair told their father.
Frightened for his children’s lives, he told them what he knew about mutants. Now, their father wasn’t a man that feared the mutants or what they could do. He only feared that the wrong people would get their hands on his children and hurt them. As a result, they filmed their final episode of the show documenting the Antarctica sea life. The trio settled down in the arctic tundra.
About a year later, the ‘wrong people’ found them. Due to her powers, Cam was able to blend in with the ground and hide herself. Unfortunately, her brother was not so lucky. They took him away. When her father returned from his weekly trip to the market, he was devastated. He started looking into some way to help his daughter stay alive. Eventually, he found out about the CIHL and she was quickly signed up. Now, she is attending the school under the code name of Chameleon, often just referred to as Cham.
She does not know if her brother was killed, but she has vowed to find him and save him if he is still alive.
